Saving Lives in Minnesota

In Minnesota, the Democratic controlled Minnesota State House, State Senate and the Governor’s mansion are so fired up about saving lives in Minnesota they are breaking their oaths of office to infringe upon the 2nd Amendment rights of all law abiding citizens in Minnesota…all the while they support abortion.  Smells a bit like hypocrisy hey.

In the Minnesota House Public Safety Committee they have been desperately trying, for weeks, to ram through House File 237 which contains a boat load of 2^nd Amendment infringements. This bill has 8 sponsors in the House…all Democrats.

 Also introduced was House File 1323, 1324 and 1325 which carries much less of the 2^nd Amendment infringements and has an abundance of well over 35 bi-partisan sponsors in the house, is supported by multiple Minnesota sheriff’s departments, is also supported by the NRA but the Democrat controlled Safety Committee has refused to even hear this bill.

Another Committee hearing was held at 10am on Tuesday, March 19^th, 2013.  There apparently were enough votes on the committee to vote down this legislation, but the chairman delayed the vote until 7pm on the 19^th to allow time for more pressure to be put on the Committee members to support the bill. 

A concerned citizen called Committee member Rep John Lesch’s office to express her concern about HF 237 and was told by a staff member:  “to not believe this Second Amendment  BS and hung up on her.  She called back and asked for his name…he said he wouldn’t give it to her and if she ever called again he would report her to security”.  Sound like a totalitarian state?

During the recess period there mysteriously came a call from shot-gun toting, abortion supporting VP Joe Biden putting pressure on, saying HE wanted a bill to move forward…to protect lives in Minnee-so-ta.  As a result HF 237 was pulled and the Public Safety Chairman rescheduled another meeting for 10am March 20^th to try yet another version of “saving lives in Minnesota”.

 Another day has gone by and some of us cannot help but wonder what our Founding Fathers would say if they were here to witness what We the People have allowed to take place in their beloved country!  Shame on us!
